Step into the spirit of the Old West and compete for bragging rights as the best chili cook in town! Our Chili Cook-Off brings together bold flavors, creative cooks, and a panel of judges ready to crown the champion.
📝 Entry Requirements

All participants must register and pay the entry fee prior to the event

Contestants must arrive Sunday at 11:00 AM to begin preparation

Limited spaces available — first come, first served
🍲 Cooking Rules

Chili must be prepared on-site the day of the event

No pre-made or pre-cooked chili is allowed

All ingredients must be fresh and raw prior to cooking

Chili must be cooked using safe food-handling practices

Each contestant is responsible for bringing:

Cooking equipment (burners, propane, etc. if needed)

Pots, pans, and cooking vessels

Ladles and serving utensils

Knives and cutting boards

All ingredients for their chili

Any additional setup needed for their cooking station

Wanted posters with your friend/family picture posted in prime areas, for $20 this fun experience can help us with our future permanent home for our festival.
You will need to email your suspect(s) images and first name to guestservices@nmrenceltfest.com
This $20 is your fee to issue the warrant for the US Marshall's office, they will seek out this person and take them to Jail..
Once in Jail, you will have 20 minutes to ask the crowd to help with the bail - collect as mush as possible and present it to the JUDGE for their release.

Wild West Frontier Quest
This years Quest takes us to the mystical wild West. Mordkin the Quest Master invites you to join him in the Frontier Outpost Named "Jamestown" . It is rumored that the prospector, Doc Brown has found some old ruins during his mining operation, and he needs your help solving their mysteries. The quest comes with a tutorial level you can play with kids. Questers can complete the main quest to earn a stake in prospectors treasure, or they can even earn the highest level of side quest points to earn a key from the prospector that unlocks up to a $100 prize! One ticket is good for a small party.
